Escentric Molecules-the myth behind a fragrance

When I first met this perfume at Skinlife shop (one of the top retail shops in the world of niche beauty brands), I was somewhat seduced by the simplicity of the packaging and the weak intensity of the fragrance, but it was only after hearing the explanation of the specialist Dennis de Vries, when I understood the success of this fragrances among celebrities.

Escentric Molecules was launched in 2006 by Geza Schoen, a Berlin-based perfumer with a long track record in the fragrance industry.
The secret behind one of the most enigmatic fragrances of the niche market, is the use of a molecule called ‘Iso E Super’ in an unprecedented concentration (65%).
This composition created a mini cult, supposedly because the ingredient smells like the natural aura of a person, rather than a perfume, a sexy pheromonic-like aura, thus acting as a powerful attractant.

My favorite is Escentric 01 consists of ‘Iso E Super’, pink pepper, lime-peel and orris incense.

They did it again! There is one body wash for each of our Escentric fragrances – 01, 02 and 03. The main active ingredient is Energen, which contains sapindus mukorossi and caesalpinia spinosa.  But the simple fact is this: Energen in conjunction with the fragrance helps give the product an unprecedented four-in-one action – energising and moisturising, as well as cleansing and fragrancing.
This body washes contain naturally derived materials, are paraben-free and completely free of all sulphates.

As one devotee said to Schoen and Lounds: “This isn’t your fragrance, this is my fragrance.”
