Loris Diran immigrated to the U.S. as a small child and grew up in New York City, where he immersed himself in the downtown arts community throughout his youth.
After earning a Fine Arts degree from New York University, Diran went on to work for design houses such as Versace, Claude Montana, OMO Norma Kamali, and Chanel. It was at these institutions that Diran learned the key elements of style and embraced ‘Elegance with an Edge’ as a lifestyle concept.
In 2007, Diran went to work on his own signature women’s ready-to-wear label, immediately followed by a men’s collection. Both featuring artisanal craftsmanship and have since developed a loyal clientele of fashion savvy customers, as well as celebrities from the world of music, television and film.
His designs have been worn by Sarah Jessica Parker, Beyoncè Knowles, Ne-Yo, Ricky Martin, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Nicolette Sheridan, Vanessa Williams, Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears, Live Schreiber, Roselyn Sanchez, and Andrew McCarthy.
Diran has shown his collections as part of New York Fashion Week 13 times and designed costumes for the Philadelphia Ballet, as well as men’s wardrobe pieces for The Devil Wears Prada.
Diran was the winner of the 2011 Fashion Group International ‘Rising Star’ Award for Best Menswear Designer and, in January 2015, debuted his collection on the runways of Hong Kong Fashion Week.
French-Armenian designer Loris Diran opened his flagship boutique in February 2009.
His modern and elegant creations are timeless.

In 2016 the Fashion designer Loris Diran teamed up with the portuguese shoe brand Mikels for his Fall 2016 presentation at the New York Fashion Week Men's. The show will take place at the Dimenna Center on the February 1, 2016.
